This online ordering system is intended exclusively for commercial distribution partners (distributors) of Lux products. It is not intended for use by consumers.
Personal data is processed exclusively for the purpose of establishing, performing and managing the existing business and distribution partner relationship, organizing the international distribution partner structure, and processing orders.
In connection with the use of the online ordering system, we process in particular the following data:
• Name and contact details of contact persons
• Company name and company address
• E-mail address and telephone number
• User account access data
• Order and transaction data
• Communication data within the scope of business processing
• Distributor-related information such as distributor category and price or condition assignment
The processing of personal data is based on:
• Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (processing necessary for the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures),
• Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (compliance with legal obligations),
• Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and efficient provision of the online ordering system, administration of the international distribution partner structure, and maintenance of the business relationship).
User accounts are created and activated internally by the controller. Independent registration is not possible. The processing of the collected data serves exclusively to provide access to the ordering system and to manage the distribution partner structure.
Data collected in connection with orders is used for processing the order, internal order handling and delivery of goods.
Payment is made exclusively by advance bank transfer based on an order confirmation. No payment data is processed within the online ordering system.
Personal data will only be transferred to third parties where this is necessary for contract performance, in particular to shipping service providers commissioned with the delivery of goods.
No further transfer of data takes place unless there is a legal obligation to do so.
When accessing our online ordering system, information is automatically collected and stored by the hosting provider in so-called server log files. This includes in particular:
• IP address (shortened or anonymized where possible)
• Date and time of access
• Accessed pages
• Browser type and operating system
Processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for the purpose of ensuring system security and stability.
Only technically necessary cookies are used in our online ordering system. These cookies are required to enable the basic functions of the system, in particular login and use of the user account.
No analysis, tracking or marketing cookies are used.
Personal data is stored only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes stated above or as required by statutory retention obligations. Commercial and tax retention periods generally amount to up to ten years.
Within the framework of applicable legal provisions, you have the right at any time to:
• obtain information about your stored personal data (Art. 15 GDPR),
• request rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR),
• request erasure of your data (Art. 17 GDPR),
• request restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority regarding the processing of your personal data.
We use appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or unauthorized access by third parties. Data transmission is encrypted using SSL or TLS technology.
We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy in order to ensure that it always complies with current legal requirements or to reflect changes in our services. The updated privacy policy shall apply to any future visits.
